Schorsch
Description
DoB: March 2021
M/F: Male
Admitted to PAWS: March 2023
Here we have another Segugio Hound, a bigger version of Petras. Schorsch is most likely a hunter's dog that got separated from the pack and simply left behind. Luckily for him, he was soon found and brought to the shelter. He was found wandering the streets; who knows how long he had been a stray because he was incredibly thin. Although he has gained some weight hanks to two feeds a day, he still has some way to go before there is the optimum amount of flesh on his bones. Already a handsome, proud looking boy, he will be stunning when he reaches his peak.
As you might expect with his breed, he is a natural hunter and will keep his nose to the ground when out walking.
Schorsch is an affectionate dog who likes t be around people and loves to be petted. Description of his breed traits suggest that so long as he has enough mental and physical exercise (long walks, a secure garden to run round; puzzle toys, search and retrieve games) he can adapt to any living situation.
If you have fallen in love with handsome Schorsch and are looking for a companion dog to go for long walks then please email colleenatpaws@outlook.com for more information, or send PAWS a private Facebook message (please include your email address in the message), or come to the shelter to meet him.
