Caja was left tied to the shelter gates with another dog, whom we have called Ronja. The condition and friendliness of both dogs lead us to believe that the have come from a good home. They were in very good condition, well-fed, well-groomed, and very much used to and affectionate with people.

Even though she was already 2 years old, Caja didn’t seem to be very wordly wise and certainly had had no training. At first she would just drop to the floor and shuffle forward. The leash was an unknown element. However, after a few sessions of clicker training she has shown herself to be intelligent and quick to learn. Of course, there is still more to be done but already she is showing great potential for becoming a fantastic dog.
