Who have we here? It’s cheeky boy Roy!! Roy is a lovable dog who’s ready to fill your life with joy! Found in a very sorry state in the mountains, his rescuer could find no one who claimed him as theirs, and so she put him in the car and drove him home. So happy was he to be with someone that he spent the whole journey with his head resting in her lap.
A visit to the groomers was definitely the order of the day. His coat was so dirty and matted that he couldn’t even walk properly. His ears were massive clumps of matted fur; one so heavy that he couldn’t hold his head straight (see photo). Just look at that transformation! From a scruffy, matted mess to the handsome boy we see today, Roy has proven that a little love and care can make all the difference. Roy has now left his past behind and
Whatever Roy has endured in his short life, it certainly hasn’t dampened his spirit. He is a thoroughly happy dog who LOVES being with people. He is playful and affectionate in equal parts.
