9.30 – 12 noon join us for our Easter Egg Hunt and extravaganza 

See the dogs in the shelter and catch up with the Saturday helpers as we open up the gates for a coffee morning with a difference.

Join us for an early Easter treat. Orthodox Easter this year is Sunday 24th April, UK Easter break is the 17th… so you may have to save your winning prize goodies for a few days.. but our dogs love a fuss and a treat every day.

Starting with the Easter Bonnet parade at 10am, wear your spectacular hat, [or your dogs] for the event.

Does your dog have star quality? Could they be the next Paws Easter Bunny? fluff up their ears and tail, either by sending a photo in advance or capture them via zoom, for their moment of fame. Or bring them with you, the shelter part of the competition  will begin about 10.30am

Take part in our Easter Egg Hunt we will provide you with the clues and you can hunt for throughout the morning. As we are a dog shelter we will run a dog friendly version, and tell you how you can run one at home for your very special pooch.

The Egg & Spoon race will begin at 10.45am – have your egg and spoon at the ready – a quick dash round the shelter, or maybe for you it is the garden hurdles challenge – register in advance for the rules .

At 9.30 join our bunny hop fun run in the shelter lane .. run, jog hop your way into the shelter – bunny costumes all welcome

Visit our stalls, have tea, cofee, cake and soft drinks at the donation tea bar

All entry donations go directly to the dogs… 5 euro’s feeds one dog for a week, 50 euro’s covers a month of kidney or digestive food for a small dog, 100 euros pays for a dog to be castrated and every penny or cent counts

REMEMBER CHOCOLATE IS TOXIC FOR DOGS – ALL OUR TREATS ARE DOG FRIENDLY!!

AT THE SHELTER – WE WILL HAVE A CAKE AND A MERCHANDISE STALL. ENTRY & TABLE SERVICE REFRESHMENTS WILL BE ON A DONATION BASIS
