Ace
Description
Ace may be 7 years old but at times he is still like a big gambolling puppy who isn't aware of his size. There is nothing bad in Ace, he just wants attention and cuddles.
When he came to PAWS it was clear that he had a problem with one of his back legs; often avoiding putting it to the ground. X-rays showed that he had somehow broken some toes and they had not healed properly. It was operated on and a plate inserted. Unfortunately, the operation took a while to recover from and Ace was not a very good patient; he was not impressed either at having to wear a cone or a bandage., and both came off several times!
Ace is full of the joys of spring and is constantly on the go. Little seems to dampen his zest for life. He LOVES people; the closer he can get to them the better.
Ace will need to learn about living in a home after so long at the shelter, but he is intelligent and will learn quickly.
He would enjoy being with a family who will take him for exercise on the beach or on country walks. He would be fine with older children but possibly too big and bouncy for small children
If you like the look of ACE, and would like more information, please send PAWS a private Facebook message (include your email address), email colleenatpaws@outlook.com or come to the shelter to meet him.
