This beautiful little girl was found at Papantoniou Supermarket, Chlorakas, in a terrible state. So as usual with such a case we followed our routine and got her straight to the vets. We thought that she may be pregnant, but thankfully an ultra-sound proved this not to be the case. Next blood tests were done. Unfortunately Clementine’s results showed she was positive to Leishmania, Anaplasma and Ehrlichea. We started her immediately on all the necessary medications and she is now well on the way to regaining her health.
Clementine is a sweet-natured, quiet girl who loves a cuddle and fuss. Playing with toys isn’t really her thing but she does love to interact with people. God only knows why considering what they have done to her in the past; but dogs are so amazingly forgiving! She loves the sun, and of course her food.
Clementine’s hearing isn’t the best but she will acknowledge you if you talk to her. Due to her love of sleep waking her up without startling her can be a little difficult though!
Might you be the caring, understanding people that she needs and who can continue the work we have started to show Clementine that life can be good and make her past fade from her memory? If you think you are then please email colleenatpaws@outlook.com for more information about her or adoption in general , or send PAWS a private Facebook message (please include your email address in the message), or come to the shelter to meet CLEMENTINE.
