Fonzy is an elderly Pointer X didn't deserve t end up in the shelter and we certainly don't want him to end his days there. having said that, he probably has a better life now than he ever did with his previous owner. Chances are that he was probably abandoned because he had grown too old for hunting. He was found on a busy main road and so was very lucky to still be alive. Unlike most abandoned / stray dogs in Cyprus, Fonzy was actually already neutered and microchipped - but unfortunately, his owner couldn't be traced.
He may be getting on for 12 years old, but he is still quite an active boy. He has a lovely character and loves to be around people. If indeed he was a hunting dog, it is highly unlikely that he has ever lived in a house. But nor have the majority of our dogs, but they still settle into a home without any fuss.
