When Jemal was found he spent some time in a foster home waiting for a space to be available at PAWS. When he came to the shelter, he was very scared and warned people off with a growl. As time has passed, he has thawed out and now quite enjoys the attention that people will give him. He is a typical young dog - energetic, playful and affectionate. He has had no training to date and so will benefit form training classes to give him a good grounding in listening to and obeying commands. He has developed so much since joining us and now enjoys a walk.

Other than the short time in foster, Jemal does not know what it is to be in a home. He was abandoned far too young to have learnt anything, so you must be prepared to start from scratch. But he is a bright little dog who seems willing to please and will soon learn.

Already having a playful dog in the home would be a bonus (but not a necessity) to give Jemal added confidence and a friend with whom to let off some steam.
