When Jemal was found, he spent some time in a foster home while waiting for a space to become available at PAWS. When he arrived at the shelter, he was very scared and growled to warn people off. However, as time has passed, he has warmed up and now enjoys the attention he receives from people.

Jemal is energetic, playful, and affectionate. He has not received any training so far, and he would greatly benefit from training classes to help him learn to listen to and obey commands. Since joining us, he has made significant progress and now enjoys going for walks. Apart from the brief time spent in foster care, Jemal has not experienced life in a home. He was abandoned at a young age, so he will need to learn everything from scratch. However, he is a bright little dog who seems eager to please, and he will quickly pick up new skills.
