First thing I’ll tell you is that I am nervous of you humans. I was very shy when I first came here and didn’t go near anyone. I am a little bit better now because I see how the people are nice to my pen mates, Tramp I really, really want to go for cuddles too but … ! Actually, I must tell you, I have been getting much braver recently and will come and sniff someone's hand. When I am brave enough to let them stroke me, I rather enjoy it. I think it is something that I could get used to... given time. I like to be with the other dogs and will play quite happily with them. I also like to go for a walk. Perhaps you already have a dog that I would like and you could take me into your home and I could relax and get braver without all the hustle and bustle of the shelter. Now, there’s a good thought! You would have to be patient with me though and not force me to do things that scare me. Progress may be quick, it may be slow. You would have to be happy to take things at my pace.
