Maya was found, absolutely terrified, on a roundabout. She was almost frozen with fear at al the traffic, which made it relatively easy for someone to catch her. Since then, Maya has been in a foster home with lost of other dogs and has proved herself to be at ease with them. In fact, she is currently happier in the company of dogs than people. She is still fearful of people and needs time to gain confidence. Other than her past life, all she knows is her foster home, which is a safe haven for her but she isn't progressing. She isn't at ease outside of this bubble and so needs to be in a home where there only adults; older children (teens) would also be OK. Ideally there would be at least one other dog that would offer her security and from who she could learn.

Maya will be afraid at first, but with gentle encouragement will overcome her fears and can develop her confidence.People with experience of fearful dogs, would be better still.
