We have the pleasure of introducing one of our long-term residents who is definitely ready for a home to call his own.
Words used by volunteers to describe him include: clever, charismatic, loyal, handsome, and an adorable, lovable teddy bear.
He came to the shelter as a boisterous, bored two-year-old, desperate for attention and very hungry for food and love. Four years on and little has changed because he is very stressed with shelter life and dislikes being confined. What he truly needs is a home where he can be with people.
He loves getting his harness on to go for a stroll, jog or run. Torro would be a great companion for the right person or persons (he loves everybody!).
Torro tries to catch the attention of everyone that passes his pen by jumping up at the door. Sadly, to some people this makes him appear aggressive but we can assure you that he is simply stressed and wants your attention so that you can see how great he is. No matter how much he tries, he just hasn’t attracted those special people yet!

All our dogs are fully vaccinated, health-checked, spayed/neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Our team at PAWS do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition from shelter to home. We provide ongoing support post-adoption (including rescue backup should it be needed), and our home check process is designed to create the perfect match for both you and your new family member.
Don’t live in Cyprus? Don’t worry! There are no restrictions on dogs flying from Cyprus to the UK or other European countries – travel costs will apply.
