Waldo, a Pointer X, was underweight when he was brought to us. The people who had cared for him until we had space fed him well but he remained skinny. The same happened at the shelter; in spite of plenty of food each day he didn't put on weight, in fact he lost weight. It was only after blood tests that we new the reason. The tests showed us that he has a problem with his liver.
Now, with the right food and medication, he is beginning to look healthy and is gaining weight. He is now full of life, enjoys going for walks, and loves to be around people and other dogs. The lovely, friendly dog that was hidden inside that sad body is now shining out and Waldo would be an asset to any family home.
