At only 10 weeks old, Wolverine was abandoned at the shelter gate one night. He was not at all happy in his new surroundings and was not settling well with us until 10 days later another puppy was brought in. A puppy that looked rather like Wolverine, was the same breed and the same age. Wolverine's brother? We'll never know but we decided to treat them as such and put them in together. Well, what a change! They both had a friend to play with and get up to mischief with. They were both happy!.

Now he and Xorn are identical in their enthusiasm for people. They love having people go into their pen and it is a fight for who can get the most attention.

As per his breed, Wolverine will be a big, strong dog possibly with a stubborn streak. He has bags of self-confidence which can sometimes overspill. The sooner he gets into a home with a family of his own the better because now is the right time for him to start learning. He will need training and consistent handling to control his exuberance without squashing it altogether. Given time, some training and lots of patience he will make a fantastic family dog.
