Poor Bruno has faced unimaginable challenges already in his short life, enduring the cruelty of someone who wanted to hurt him in the worst ways. Thankfully, his story took a turn for the better when he came to PAWS. His owner realised that it was the best way to save little Bruno from those who wanted to harm him.
Initially, he was somewhat hesitant and fearful, probably wondering if our kindness was just trick to win him over and eventually be hurt again. But, with patience and kindness from a dog trainer and shelter workers, Bruno is emerging from his shell and he now bounces up to his pen door to greet people. He’s a great example of resilience; he is sweet, friendly, and surprisingly trusting, despite the trauma he’s endured.

Bruno is a beautiful Boxer mix and will grow to be a medium-sized dog. We believe that in the right home, he will blossom into a fantastic companion, ready to shower his family with affection and loyalty.
