Diego is a charming medium-sized boy who was rescued from a hoarding situation, where he lived alongside many other dogs. Although he is still working through his nervousness around humans, his confience grows daily. With the right amount of patience and love, Diego has the potential to become a wonderful family pet. He will probably do best in a calm environment where he can have slow introductions to new people and experiences. It may take him a while to completely trust people, but each small step he takes will bring him closer to feeling secure and loved.
Diego’s trusting side is already beginning to show, and you can see glimpses of his affectionate personality when he feels safe. He will do best with understanding owners who can help him build confidence. With time, he is sure to become a loyal companion to the family that welcomes him into their home.
