Jay Jay

Description

Name: Jay Jay
M/F: Male
DoB: May 2018
Adult size: Small
Admitted to PAWS: May 2026

Jay Jay and his siblings were discovered in a rubbish bin when they were just a few days old. Luckily, a compassionate rescuer found them, took them home, and decided to keep them. For eight years, Jay Jay lived in that home until his owner decided to return to his native country – without Jay Jay. And that is why Jay Jay is now at PAWS and searching for a new forever home.
When he arrived at PAWS, it was clear that Jay Jay hadn’t received the level of care he truly deserved. His coat was severely matted, and the groomer has no choice but to shave him. Despite this, his good looks have not been marred – in fact he looks cuter than ever.

Jay Jay is an affectionate boy, but he definitely has his own unique personality. He enjoys cuddles, but he also likes his independence and will happily wander off when he’s had enough affection. This blend of affection and independence makes him quite a charming companion. He also loves going for walks and has shown himself to be quite good on the lead.

At 8 years old, Jay Jay has developed some quirky habits that only add to his charm. He may be a little set in his ways, but he has the potential to be a loving and loyal companion. Jay Jay would probably be best in a quiet home, perhaps with a caring couple or a mature individual who appreciates his special qualities.

If you are looking for a small, friendly dog and would like to find out more about Jay Jay, please email colleenatpaws@outlook.com, or send PAWS Dog Shelter a private Facebook message (please include your email address in the message), or come to the shelter to see him.

All our dogs are fully vaccinated, health-checked, spayed/neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Our team at PAWS do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition from shelter to home. We provide ongoing support post-adoption (including rescue backup should it be needed), and our home check process is designed to create the perfect match for both you and your new family member.

Don’t live in Cyprus? Don’t worry! There are no restrictions on dogs flying from Cyprus to the UK or other European countries – travel costs will apply.
