Kardo and his siblings were discovered in a rubbish bin when they were just a few days old. Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer found them, took them home, and made the decision to keep them. Kardo was in that home for eight years, until his owner chose to return to his native country -leaving Kardo & his brother behind. Now, Kardo is at PAWS, eagerly waiting for a new forever home.
When he arrived at PAWS, it became clear that Kardo hadn’t received the care such a gorgeous dog deserves. His coat was badly matted, and the groomer had no choice but to shave him. Now he looks cuter than ever!
Kardo is a sweet and affectionate boy with a great personality. He loves to cuddle and enjoys human company, but he will wander off when he’s ready for some space. This combination of affection and independence makes him an enchanting companion. Kardo loves going for walks and has proven to be quite well-behaved on a lead.
At 8 years old, Kardo has his own endearing quirks that add to his appeal. While he may be set in his ways, he also has the potential to become a devoted and loving companion. Kardo would probably settle wherever he goes – to a family or to a quiet home. Let’s find Kardo the loving home he deserves.

All our dogs are fully vaccinated, health-checked, spayed/neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Our team at PAWS do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition from shelter to home. We provide ongoing support post-adoption (including rescue backup should it be needed), and our home check process is designed to create the perfect match for both you and your new family member.
Don’t live in Cyprus? Don’t worry! There are no restrictions on dogs flying from Cyprus to the UK or other European countries – travel costs will apply.
