Nesta had a home and family. He lived with his owner and two other older dogs. But then disaster struck for him; his owner downsized and didn't have room for his three dogs and so he came to PAWS. He wasn't sure he liked it at first and took a little while to settle but now he is OK - not happy, but OK. The shelter isn't ideal for Nesta because he is a dog who likes human company and he doesn't get enough of it at PAWS.

Our Nesta is a gentle giant. We know that people often say this of big dogs just to find them a home, but in Nesta's case it is true. He doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is so gentle when taking treats and is good on the lead. He just wants to please people.

In his pen, he shunned his plastic bed in favour of dragging his blanket out onto the concrete, spreading it out just so, and laying where he could see what was happening around him.
