Jacko
Description
Name: JACKO
M/F: Male
DoB: October 2017
Adult size: Medium
Admitted to PAWS: March 2022
Jacko is a friendly and energetic dog looking for his forever home! Once a stray, Jacko found his way to a compassionate animal lover who cared for him until he could come to PAWS. We discovered that Jacko had a microchip, which was registered!!! For a while, our hearts lifted because we could reunite Jacko and his owner. Sadly, that didn’t last long because the owner could no longer be bothered with him! So, PAWS became his (temporary) home – so far for 1339 days and counting!. He has blossomed into a loving companion who adores attention from everyone he meets. Despite his past as an ex-hunting dog, Jacko is eager to learn and adapt to home life. He thrives on interaction and makes his presence known, often barking to grab attention as people pass by his kennel. Once engaged, he’s all smiles and tail wags!
Jacko is looking for an active family who will enjoy taking him for walks and can provide the love, care, and training he needs. He gets along well with other dogs, making him an excellent addition to an active household. If you’re someone who’s often home during the day and has a soft spot for hounds, Jacko could be the perfect match for you.
If you’re interested in giving Jacko a loving home, please contact PAWS via email at colleenatpaws@outlook.com or send a private message on social media. You’re also welcome to visit the shelter and meet him in person!
All dogs at PAWS come fully vaccinated, health checked, and microchipped, with rescue backup available. A home check will be required for potential adopters. And don’t worry about location—Jacko can travel to loving homes all over Europe. Don’t miss out on the chance to make this affectionate boy part of your family!
