Harris, despite getting on in years, is still a lively and agile Pointer who has more than a spark of energy. He’s looking for a family to share his life with, because he doesn’t get enough companionship and adventure in the shelter – and that’s what he wants. He has a wonderful personality and he is eager to learn and to play, Harris is the perfect match for fairly active people. We don’t know what he may have faced in the past, but his trust in humans is still strong.

Harris is ready to start a new chapter in his life, and with the right family that has the patience and time to help him adjust, he’s sure to do well. Despite not having much experience with home life, his intelligence and desire to please should make an easy transition.

Harris is a friendly and sociable dog, who longs for human affection and engagement. He has so much love and loyalty to offer a family. Whether he is taken on long walks, or simply spending time with those he loves, Harris will be happy.
