Emerald is the mother of Cole, Ebony & Reno. The little family were rescued locally when they ran out of a field into the path of an oncoming car. Thankfully, the driver was able to stop and, with the help of another passing motorist, get them all in her car and to the shelter.
Emerald is definitely a ‘people’ dog. She absolutely adores human attention and can hardly contain herself when anyone visits her pen. She is an incredibly affectionate, playful, and energetic dog with a charming, people-loving personality and a contagious happy-go-lucky attitude. While she may not have received much training yet, she is eager to learn and will thrive with gentle, positive guidance.
We believe she will be a wonderful family dog because of her loving and gentle nature. She is very playful and enjoys a game of fetch. Emerald’s enthusiasm for life and everything in it shines through and she loves everyone she meets.
Despite being a mother to three puppies, Emerald is still quite young herself, and often displays the playful antics of a puppy.

All our dogs are fully vaccinated, health-checked, spayed/neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Our team at PAWS do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition from shelter to home. We provide ongoing support post-adoption (including rescue backup should it be needed), and our home check process is designed to create the perfect match for both you and your new family member.
