My name is Tomas. I admit that I am not in the first flush of youth, in fact far from it, but the beauty of being older is that what you see is what you get. I was found by some very nice people who brought me to PAWS (they couldn't keep me but they still come to visit me!).

I think I was a hunting dog, but wasn't very well cared for. I'm a fairly happy sort of dog (you can probably tell that from my photo) who has some quite cute ways. One thing that makes people smile is the way I drag my blanket out of the bedroom area and put it exactly where I want to lay down in my pen - well, I can't be expected to lay on concrete at my age!

I don't remember ever living in a proper home so I don't know quite what it would be like... but I would love to find out. I'm a bright boy and would learn quickly what I can and can't do. I'd love to live with people who would talk to me, cuddle me, and take me for walks.

Unfortunately, I have a thing called Leishmania (that's why my ears are a bit tatty) but it is kept under control by my daily pills and proper food. The people at the shelter will tell you more about Leishmania if you ask them. Please don;t let it stop you considering me to become part of your family..
