Tramp
Description
Name: TRAMP
Gender: Male
DoB: Sept 2018
Adult size: Medium
Admitted to PAWS: Sept 2020
Meet Tramp, a lovable, scruffy, wiry-haired terrier with a heart as golden as his hair! His life before PAWS was tough. He was found, totally emaciated, tied to a tree in the middle of a field with only dry bread crusts to eat. However, he hadn’t been abandoned… this is how his owner saw fit to keep him.
As you might imagine, when Tramp first joined PAWS in September 2020, he had very little trust in people. He was so afraid that he would snap if we tried to touch him. Quite surprisingly though, it took very little time for him to learn that we meant him no harm and his transformation began. Today he is a changed boy and more than ready to enjoy a bright future filled with love and companionship.
He has turned into a happy, friendly dog who loves a good cuddle and to chase after a ball. His happiness is contagious – you can’t help but smile at his antics – and his loyalty is unmatched.
Tramp has tested positive for Leishmania – but please don’t reject him just for that. With daily medication and a proper diet, he is leading a happy, healthy life. We are happy to chat with you and give you all the information you need about Leishmania. Remember, adopting Tramp means giving him the loving home he deserves. His greatest joy (after food time) comes from being with people. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a loyal companion who truly appreciates the love you give, Tramp is waiting for you. Please make Tramp’s dream of finding a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished come true.
If you would like to give TRAMP the chance he needs or would like more information then send us a private message (please include your email address in the message), email colleenatpaws@outlook.com, or come to the shelter to meet him.
