Aphrodite was found at Aphrodite's Rock in Cyprus - hence her name!  She was completely malnourished and dehydrated; she was very close to death and had all but given up when she was found by tourists who, thankfully, decided that couldn't just leave her there to die. It was touch and go for quite a while, but her spirit (and excellent care) pulled her through.

After regaining some of her health in a local clinic, Aphrodite has been living in a foster home. Considering how far gone she was, she has recovered well and she is no longer the sick and malnourished dog found that day.  She has learned to trust people and loves to be around them. She is very affectionate and enjoys her cuddles  It would be lovely if we could find her a forever family who could give her all the love she yearns for the rest of her life.
